I was born in the 00s and i grew up with a handful of other katie’s. I used to prefer [name_f]katie [/name_f], but i’ve been crushing on [name_f]katy [/name_f] lately. As a [name_f]katie [/name_f], i feel i absolutely need to weigh in on this!

What other forms of catherine. It feels modern and fresh to me, while [name]catherine [/name] feels more elegant and ladylike and more like the royalty spelling. [name]katharine [/name] is too ms hepburn.
While i adore the name, it sounds too plain with my other top names (emma, emily, anna) in a combo.
A person that can legally change their name wants to be known as. Have you considered using caddy instead of [name_f]katie [/name_f]? My husband is stuck on [name_f]katy[/name_f] [name_f]jane[/name_f]. I am torn about the name catherine.

I kind of like it because it’s simple & cute, but i’m not sure that i myself would want a “simple” name.
For those that do not already know, a double barrel name is when a person goes by two names for their first name;
I also work with young children. If you were considering using this for a first name which would you go with if you were going to be using both names interchangeably? Read for context or skip to bottom for game. It is less common and really cute.
