As a [name_f]katie [/name_f], i feel i absolutely need to weigh in on this! A person that can legally change their name wants to be known as. If you were considering using this for a first name which would you go with if you were going to be using both names interchangeably?

It feels modern and fresh to me, while [name]catherine [/name] feels more elegant and ladylike and more like the royalty spelling.
